Allergies – Strict Controls
Allergens, such as nuts, sesame seeds and gluten can set off serious allergic reactions. KiMs has established strict routines to inspect for allergens and ensure the best possible labeling for the consumers.
It is KiMs’ goal to reduce the number of allergenic ingredients in KiMs’ product range. In the development of new products we focus on avoiding allergens.

KiMs is constantly working to replace or eliminate allergenic ingredients in the existing range of products.

All the way from the purchase of raw materials to the finished product KiMs performs spot-checks for allergens. Our ingredient quality control includes permanent procedures for the monitoring for allergens.

In between the production of different products a thorough cleaning of the production lines is carried out. This is to prevent allergens from one product spreading to another.

The production of peanuts takes place in a separate factory, so that allergens are not transferred to other KiMs products.

Clear labelling
All KiMs products are labeled in accordance with Danish laws, requiring clear declarations for consumers about any possible allergen within the products.
